Green Plantain Flour

QUALITY:

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Natural white brownish powder made with selected raw green plantain without skin. Rich in potassium, magnesium, dietetic fiber, vitamin A, Vitamin E and resistant starch (RS2); a carbohydrate type with similar properties to fibers with benefits to our health.

PRODUCT GENERAL CONDITIONS:

  • Made with selected raw material,
  • Product free of undesirable odors or strange particles,
  • Product free of dust, impurities of animal origin including insects or organic materials,
  • Product made without additives, sweeteners, artificial flavors, dyes, bleaches or genetically modified process.
  • Product not contains heavy metals in amounts which may represent a hazard condition for human health.
  • Product prepared, processed and packaged under sanitary conditions and good manufacturing process.

PRODUCT USES:

  • Ingredient in baking mixes products; rich in iron, protein and vitamin A is widely used in production of bread, cakes and biscuits,
  • Ingredient in confitery industry,
  • Carbohydrate substitute, especially for diabetic patients,
  • Substitute for wheat flour as a gluten free product,
  • Farm animal alimentation when plantain flour is processed with its skin,
  • Used as main ingredient in traditional African food alimentation and products,
  • Due to his low cost and high alimentary value is used in special alimentations beneficial programs.

PRODUCT SHELF LIFE:
10 Months stored in dry conditions

PACKING:
Product complies with the provision of the “Regulations on Health Surveillance and Control of Food and Beverage” and is packed in non-toxic materials to ensure prevention and safety, packed and sealed by automatic flap machine
Primary packaging: Virgin polyethylene plastic bag, hermetically sealed or other material suitable for food packing.
Secondary packaging: Hermetically sealed polypropylene or other material suitable for food packing.

PRODUCT PRESENTATION:
1 Qt. (100 pounds), 25 Kg, 500 gr, 400 gr, 250 gr, 200 gr or according to customer requirements.
