GENERAL INFORMATION:
Natural beige-white powder made with selected raw malanga (Taro). More mineral rich than potatoes and high source of calories containing 135 calories per one-half cup, cooked. Contain potassium, phosphorus and magnesium, also contains calcium and iron. Amazing source of riboflavin and thiamine.

PRODUCT GENERAL CONDITIONS:

  • Made with selected raw material,
  • Product free of undesirable odors or strange particles,
  • Product free of dust, impurities of animal origin including insects or organic materials,
  • Product made without additives, sweeteners, artificial flavors, dyes, bleaches or genetically modified process.
  • Product not contains heavy metals in amounts which may represent a hazard condition for human health.
  • Product prepared, processed and packaged under sanitary conditions and good manufacturing process.

PRODUCT USES:

  • Common ingredient in Cuban cooking, utilized in a wide variety of traditional dishes,
  • Natural thickener,
  • Wheat flour substitute as a gluten free flour,
  • Healthy choice to include in diets for celiac disease,
  • Malanga is probably the most hypoallergenic food in the world. Extensive allergies do very well with Malanga flour. The reason is that starch grains are the smallest and most easily digested of all complex carbohydrates,
  • Good source of natural fiber,

10 Months stored in dry conditions

PACKING:
Product complies with the provision of the “Regulations on Health Surveillance and Control of Food and Beverage” and is packed in non-toxic materials to ensure prevention and safety, packed and sealed by automatic flap machine
Primary packaging: Virgin polyethylene plastic bag, hermetically sealed or other material suitable for food packing.
Secondary packaging: Hermetically sealed polypropylene or other material suitable for food packing.

PRODUCT PRESENTATION:
